Cam to Scan Lite offers the most important functions for optimizing photographed documents.
Optimizing an image with Cam to Scan is done in three steps:
- Set the outline: Cam to Scan tries to find the outline of an object automatically. If desired, you may manually set it with a few mouse clicks.
- Straighten: the item is equalised to take on its original rectangular shape
- Adjust the brightness: Cam to Scan detects whether a document is under- or overexposed and corrects it accordingly.
It is easy to use since straightening is based on the outline of an object, which is fairly easy to define if it has not been detected automatically anyway.
If the photographed document is distorted in a way that its outline on the photo is not a straight line, Cam to Scan can still correct the distortion by adding more outline points.
The brightness correction provides good results without any settings required.
Business travellers that do not want to take a scanner with them as well as users that want to capture large-format documents, for example field engineers that need to capture modified drawings.
